So why did Rashid, Managing Director of Deutsche Bank, invest in Upad?
Watch our video of Rashid, a Upad landlord turned investor, talk about why he chose to invest in Upad and how he shares James Davis’ vision for the future of the company.
Rashid is the Managing Director of Deutsche Bank London within the Corporate and Investment Bank. He has 20 years of Investment Banking experience including Corporate Finance, Corporate Risk Management and Currency Risk Management. He was the Founding Investor in Nivio, a Cloud Computing Company, and has raised over £7million through colleagues and friends. His EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme) investments include Rated People (home renovation services), Brave New Talent (online recruitment), Wolf and Badger (a retail boutique) and Acquaspira (a flood water drainage piping manufacturer). He is planning to invest in an additional 5 more EIS companies, which includes Upad.
Rashid, like James, believes Upad is the future of the lettings market. He rates James’ approach to the shareholders highly, because James shares Upad’s progress and challenges as well as how investor money is being spent to reach more landlords and grow the business. Rashid has also expressed that James combines his vision for where Upad is going with thoughtful and disciplined execution.
